Almost anywhere on Bali you can find places for scuba diving. Ocean water is not sufficiently transparent. However, do not despair. Unique underwater scenery, a wide variety of fish and quite warm waters of the ocean will satisfy not only beginners but also for demanding professionals. Island Manggahan (Menjagan)
The diving and scuba diving should visit on the island of Menjangan. The Nusa Penida Island (Nusa Penida)
The coastal waters of Nusa Penida different crystal clarity, although the current is strong and reaches four nodes. Experienced divers can see diverse and rare species of marine life. Chemlok or Amed (Amed)
Amed, which is also called Chemlok, is two and a half hour drive by car from Nusa Dua. The reef in Amed is located around a huge stone ledge. At a depth of about 50 m occurs in many fish, the index of species diversity here is one of the highest in Bali. Strong underwater currents in Amed is rare. To the dive site can be reached by lordco or directly from the beach. Amed is a good dive site for both beginners and experienced divers.
Corals: unique, best hard corals in Bali
Tulamben is one of the main centers of diving in Bali. This is the wreck of the American cargo ship “liberty”. The ship length of 120 m was torpedoed South-West of Lombok during the Second world war. It now lies on the bottom at about 40 m from the shore of Tulamben at a depth of nearly 60 m. In 1963 during the eruption of the volcano Gunung Agung Hulk of a ship broke.
